Featuring a large and open wooden deck overlooking El Nido Bay, El Gordo's Seaside Adventure Lodge provides dormitory and private rooms with free Wi-Fi. Kayaks and stand-up paddle boards and a 24-hour reception are available.
Located in a fisherman's village and away from the bustling tourist district, El Gordo's is separated from the rest of the village by a foot bridge and rocky trail. A 2-minute walk from the guest house is the Sitio Tandul Basketball Court. It is a 10-minute walk to El Nido Port and a 15-minute walk to town centre. El Nido Airport is a 30-minute drive away.
Towels and linens are provided. Private rooms each have a large, private, seaside deck, with views of El Nido Bay. All are equipped with aircon, overhead ceiling fans, and tile flooring. Fan-cooled dorm rooms are equipped with a mosquito net and wooden flooring.
The property can help arrange island tour and transportation upon your arrival. Guests can explore the nearby beaches by kayak or stand-up paddle board and relax with a cold drink and snack on the deck after. Shared kitchen facilities and common lounge are available. Guests can also enjoy free coffee, tea, Milo and cookies.
Art Café and many seaside restaurants and bars are some of the dining options located within a 15-minute walk of the guesthouse.

Our guesthouse is one of the few El Nido properties that is actually seaside. It is built from mainly native materials (wood and bamboo) to give it an authentic Filipino look. We recently renovated our seaside deck to include 3 levels; main, upper, and lower.
My wife Cristina and I are one of the few owner-occupied guest houses because we truly giving our guests the best possible service. I was a triathlete and now a long distance swimmer and so like to promote an active lifestyle to our guests. That is why we offer kayaks and stand up paddle boards.
One of the most interesting features about our location is that we are not part of the tourist district but part of an authentic fisherman's village. We support the local day care center and buy 200 Christmas gifts for the local children.
