Reviews: On the other sites where the house featured there are a total 65 Reviews - overall rating is 5 Star The house was recently closed for major renovations, refurbishment and modernisation - including a new kitchen and service area (with new machines, oven etc), 2 new bathrooms, new floors, new wardrobes, carpets, sofas, painting etc etc - also an insulation/ damp course was implemented and new double glazed windows and french windows were fitted. A new drainage system was installed in 2015.

About the Owners Colonel David and Wife Teresa Sutcliffe Teresa, a former bio physicist and Cascais enthusiast, is now managing all guest relations for this beautiful Townhouse, owned by Teresa and David. Teresa is fully available to help you with all of your queries during your stay and loves hosting. David was an Ex-Royal Navy Officer, Fleet Air Arm pilot and after leaving the Royal Navy a Commercial Pilot then became the Colonel of the Royal Oman Police Air Wing - some 200+ personnel and 14 aircraft. The attractive, friendly town house is located in the quiet, narrow cobbled-streets of the Historical Old Town in the centre of Cascais and yet only some 200 metres from the town centre! The house is ideal for a family vacation. The holiday location for both young families and the older generation! It is only a very short walk to everything Cascais has to offer. The beaches (100 metres!), parks, marina and yacht club, shops, good bars and many restaurants, there are 6 within 100 metres of the house, nearest good shop and light restaurant is 10 Mts away! The vibrant town centre of Cascais is less than a 2 minute walk away. The train station, Cascais-Estoril-Lisbon (32 mins), is again just a few mins walk from the house. A car is not necessary! Should you have a car safe parking is about 100 mts away. Public transport in Cascais is very good - and cheap! Bicycles are free in the town. Within a short drive are 8 superb golf courses; the historic town of Sintra (classified as a World Heritage Site); the beautiful Guincho coast line with its' sandy beaches and rocky coves, and Estoril, with more beaches and the biggest Casino in Europe!
