Ideal for couples, small families or surfers, the apartment offers peace and comfort for a relaxing stay by the sea. It features one double bedroom, a living room with sofa bed, a modern bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher. Guests have access to all shared amenities in the condo: outdoor swimming pool, children’s pool, tennis court, BBQ area and garden. I’m Rute. I love homes with soul, open doors and stories inside. Casa da Maria was born from many beautiful things: my love for the sea, for travel, and for Baleal — but mostly, from my children, all of whom carry “Maria” in their names. This space is, in a way, a warm extension of our family home. A hug with windows. I love meeting people, welcoming them with care and simplicity, and helping each guest find their own pace — whether it’s through waves and surfboards or slow breakfasts in the sun. We host other places too, but this one… this one smells like summer and feels like rest. If you come, this house is yours.

Casa da Maria is located in Baleal, one of the most beautiful and sought-after spots along the Portuguese coast. Just a short walk away, you’ll find golden beaches — ideal for surfing or simply soaking up the sun. The area has charming cafés with ocean views, fresh seafood restaurants, small local shops and markets. In summer it’s vibrant, but even off-season you’ll find quiet corners full of charm. Surf schools are within walking distance, and you can also rent bikes or enjoy a peaceful seaside stroll at sunset.
