The location is perfect for those who are beach lovers, as the Carcavelos Beach is a comfortable 5 min walk away from the apartment, around the apartment you will find shopping mall with a supermarket (so you may buy all the food items you need), you will also find several restaurants too. Around the apartment, you will several restaurants, bars and coffee shops; every Thursday you will have the Carcavelos flea Market, it is a fun place to find a few bargains and to buy fresh local vegetables and fruits. The Oeiras promenade follows through from the Carcavelos Beach, it is a great walking path right next to the sea with views to Lisbon and the ponte 25 de Abril. It is a 5-10 min. walk to the Carcavelos train station, to go to explore vibrant Lisbon (25 min by train), or to go along the coast to experience the beaches and relaxing atmosphere of near-by Cascais (a 5-10 min. ride to Estoril and Cascais)
