There is a bus service to local towns and is easily accessible by car or taxi. There are forest walks minutes from the accommodation and there are many local view points, river beaches and picturesque places such as Penela Castle, Schist villages of Lousã, Roman Ruins of Conímbriga and the historic university town of Coimbra is a short drive away
