We have created a space which is clean, cozy and comfortable and one where we were inspired by the history of the location; therefore we have nicknamed our home the "Casa da cortiça" (the cork house). While in a historic and older part of town our apartment is in a newer building with updated equipment. You will also be happy with the variety of restaurants and cafes within steps and many nearby beaches. You also have access to the ferry & can cross the river to Lisbon only 1km from our home. We offer a baby / toddler foldup playpen bed with a comfortable mattress and bedding for sleeping ****Guest(s) to communicate in advance if required and we will ensure it is set up in your room. We also offer complimentary shampoo, conditioner, bodywash along with coffee and tea, basic cooking seasonings and have a fully functional kitchen available. There is an in-room safe available to our guests. Note: Please note that access to the apartment is strictly for those referenced when at the point of reserving. Casa da Cortiça is located in Seixal, Setúbal, Portugal. The neighborhood is very quaint; there is a lot of history and older buildings but there is also a lot being restored and many new businesses opening up as well while still trying to maintain a bit of old customs and traditions with an updated twist. In walking distances you will find some great restaurants, coffee shops and even some great places for a mid to late day snack. A walk along the bay's boardwallk is strongly suggested. There is accessible public transportation (buses, trains and the ferry) There is a private garage with a private parking spot (we will provide you with the garage remote) and there is also street parking Just for your reference the apartment in on a one way street.
