We are Tina and Christoph from Hamburg Germany and are the owners of the “Casa dos Ventos" We are living in the Algarve since 7 years. Before we moved here, we were working in the busy aerospace industry. Casa dos Ventos is the counter pole to the hectic business world. The main focus here is to relax and enjoy the silence and beauty of this place. Taste and smell the Mediterranean way of life. Christoph is an enthusiast of the portuguese cuisine and will be glad to show you some of their secrets if you wish. Tina will be your host in the morning and serve you a splendid breakfast according to the philosophy: with a perfect start in the day, living is OK ;-)

Casa dos Ventos is a tastefully furnished and spacious 4 bedroom villa, located on a hill near the sea with spectacular views to the south direction to the sea with the light tower of Farol, in the north direction to the Cerro Sao Miguel, the biggest mountain in the center Algarve. The Ria Formosa in the close neighborhood is well known by Ornithologists and lovers of sea food. The mountain Cerro Sao Miguel is frequented by mountain bikers and has some demanding downhill tracks. Absolute highlights are as well the sunsets, which you may enjoy at the pool with a cool drink form the house bar. Casa dos Ventos is surrounded by a fenced property of 2ha land, which is in some parts cultivated with fruit trees and planted vegetables. The rest of the land is kept in natural conditions with lots of wildlife to discover, like Chameleons, Owls, hoopoes, night hawks and many more. Depending on the time in the year you may enjoy the truly biological and extremely tasteful fruits form our land. The villa has 4 individual rooms, each equipped with its own bathrooms. The hosts will serve rich breakfast and on demand as well other meals with the focus on portuguese cuisine.

Casa dos Ventos is located in the beautiful centre of the Algarve. It is a place where you still will find what is magic and good in the old Algarve. The touristic centers are sufficiently far away to enjoy the silence and peace of this place. Lonely beaches are in reach, where you still can have your Robinson Crusoe feeling even in the high season. Casa dos Ventos can be reached by a gravel road, which keeps car traffic away.
