A slice of paradise in the heart of Alentejo, only 75km from Lisbon! This self-catering, independent 1-bedroom house, nestled in the midst of a sprawling regenerative farm, invites you to unwind in harmony with nature. Whether your stay is short or long, solo or in a small group, the enchanting surroundings will give you a chance to relax. Take a stroll around our beautiful land and seasonal ponds, bike 7 km to a gorgeous lake, explore charming historical villages and towns nearby, or bask in the sun at the beach only 40 minutes away! Your dream Alentejo farm stay/slow tourism experience awaits at Casa Pereiro!
We are a multicultural couple, regenerating a neglected gem in beautiful Alentejo. We are avid learners and perpetual students, with an insatiable curiosity and an international background in arts and culture. We live on the property with our dog, kitten, and chickens. There are always things going on around the farm with volunteers and through regenerative practices. We use only nontoxic, natural materials in all our activities and strive towards being a zero-plastic farm as soon as possible! You are welcome to interact with us to learn more about sustainability, permaculture, agroforestry, regenerative agriculture, and much more! Fresh farm eggs and produce, as well as home-cooked meals with the best local ingredients, are available on request.
We are between the two charming villages with cafes/restaurants and only 20 minutes away from the towns of Alcacer do Sal and Montemor O Novo, both of which offer a wide variety of opportunities to dine, sightsee, and shop. The larger cities of Setubal and Evora, as well as the gorgeous beaches of Comporta, are only 40 minutes away. We can arrange and customize various unique Alentejo tours and experiences for you during your stay!
