Surrounded by vineyards, Hotel Douro Scala offers air-conditioned rooms with a balcony overlooking Cidadelhe’s mountains. It has a spa with a heated indoor pool, private treatment rooms, and a hot tub. Guests can enjoy relaxing massages and a variety of beauty treatments in the spa, which features a Turkish bath. Sporty guests can work out in the gym, or hike 30 minutes to the Douro River. The rooms have a flat-screen TV with a DVD player.
