The property was renewed in 2016, and it looks as new while keeping the original character of the house. The property is registered in the Azores tourism board with number 626 (RRAL).
We like hiking, snorkeling, mountain biking. We usually meet the guests at check-in to give some information about the house and the area.
Furnas is an awesome place, it is an easy to walk village, with lots of water streams and luxuriant vegetation. It is possible to start hiking right from the house. In the end you can relax a thermal bath at poça da Dona Beija right in front of the house. There are several restaurants and attractions in Furnas, where you can spend some days without car.
