We offer a rural experience with a touch of luxury. Accommodation consists of an upstairs double bedroom with its own television and private WC, double doors opening onto a private outdoor varanda with reclining sunbeds. On the ground floor there is a seating area with TV and Wi-Fi, a bathroom with a towel heater, a fully equipped laundry room and a galley style kitchen. Also provided are bed linen, towels and a few extras. The cottage is equipped for winter nights as there is heating throughout. There is also a private barbecue area where you can grill or simply use it to have your breakfast or lunch whilst watching nature unfold itself in front of your own eyes.
I also host the very popular Casa do Amigo in Seixal, a 2 minute walk to the much acclaimed black sand beach
This cottage nestles in the midst of the mountains of the Laurissilva, preserved under the World Heritage as one of the most beautiful and unspoiled nature reserves surrounded by wild fauna and birds. Indulge yourself with the perfect stay whether you are a keen birdwatcher, a hiking enthusiast or simply a nature lover. The famous Seixal beach with its now acclaimed natural black sand is a must for sports lovers or simply for sunbathing and is only a few minutes drive from the cottage or an enjoyable 20 minute walk giving you time to appreciate the spectacular scenery. Get away from the high rental holiday homes in Seixal with and enjoy the tranquility of the mountains whilst still being able to enjoy going to the beach. Start your walking trails only a short distance from the cottage such as Caminho das Voltas, Vereda da Cavaca and Vereda dos Assobiadores. Also the much sought after Poço do Candeeiro.
