We have been hosting people since 2016, hence hosting has become an interesting activity for us which makes it possible to meet interesting people from different cultures. Hosting has been a very interesting and enriching experience during all these years and very much looking forward to hosting the guests from all over the world, make them feel at home and make it enjoy their stay at the Ocean Garden in Sao Vicente.

In Sao Vicente, the house offers a charming loft (attic), a separate charming cozy studio and two one bedroom units. *** The LOFT about 75 m2, is facing the ocean with the view of vineyards and the mountain on the sides & in the back, offers, AC, a comfortable bed, balcony with beautiful sunset view & sound of the ocean, a 2nd double bed, a well-equipped kitchenette (fridge, two hotplates, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, dishware), a dining table, a bathroom with a shower. The loft has windows on all four sides of the house. *** The FLAT T1 is about 35m2, it offers a beautiful bedroom with the view of garden and ocean. It offers a comfortable bed, a well-equipped open kitchen (fridge, induction plate, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, dishware) with two windows on the vineyard, a dining table, free parking, free Wi-Fi, and outside furniture. The flat has windows on three sides of the house. *** The VINTAGE T1, is about 85m2, offers AC, a big living & dining room facing the ocean and the garden. It has a large kitchen (big frige/freezer, washing machine, dish washer, microwave, tea/coffee maker, oven and stove), separate bathroom with shower, a sofa bed and a small desk. *** The STUDIO as a separate unit, about 14m2, with 2 windows and with the view of the vineyards, Ocean & the mountain. This unit offers AC, a double bed, bathroom with a shower, a kitchenette with accessories for small meals (induction plate, kettle, toaster, small fridge, dishware), tea and coffee. It is ideal for a young couple, surfers or individual travelers (please note the size when you book, it is not a big room). The house is located 5 min. walk from the ocean, the promenade, 15 min to the center; shops, 20 min. drive to Funchal, 40 min. to the Airport. Guests are welcomed to enjoy the gardens and Vineyards. The parking area is shared. Rental car is close by and bus station in front of the house. All units have separate entries, parking, Wi-Fi, outside furniture & drying racks .

5 min. walk to the ocean, promenade, surfing point and club, restaurants (Portuguese special dish), open swimming pools at the hotel Calamar. 15 min walk to the center, shops, rental car, church, pharmacy, restaurants, wine tasting and petrol station. By car, 10 min. drive to Seixal Beaches, 15 min drive to volcanic natural pools of Porto Moniz, 25 min. drive to Funchal and 35 min. to the airport. There are direct buses to and from Funchal. São Vicente Beach consists of three beaches Praia do Calhau, Praia da Faja da areia and Baía dos Juncos. All have great water quality and are enjoyed not only by locals, but by those who visit. Located north of the island, its sea can be a bit rough but it’s quite popular with surfers for this reason. Two of these beaches were newly upgraded with a support facility for various water sport adventures. Fajã da Areia is now protected with a sea breaker making this a great place for those who enjoy a variety of sports. It also offers a sundeck with an outdoor café. Baía dos Juncos Club Naval is also another great complex, offering excellent facilities such as a gym, sauna, water sports facilities, bars and restaurants. There is also a promenade, which connects to Varadouro and Baía dos Juncos.
