Located in the centre of the city a 2-minute walk from the panoramic São Jorge Castle and Sé Cathedral, in a typical Lisbon district, the apartments of Portas do Sol Apartments offer city and Tagus River views. The unit is sited in a renovated 19th century building. All apartments feature a terrace or garden and are located at one of Lisbon's most iconic staircases, providing guests the rare quietude of a street without traffic. Units blend classical elements and architecture with a contemporary décor, creating an eclectic atmosphere. Each apartment has an iPod docking station, free WiFi and a satellite TV. The apartment’s kitchens are fully equipped to prepare meals, which can be enjoyed al fresco. The apartments’ restaurant, bar and lounge is located a few steps away, with fantastic views of the city and a summer terrace. Portas do Sol features a meeting room located 200 metres from the apartments, which guests can use upon previous request and at an extra charge. Babysitting services are also available. Santa Apolónia Metro Station is 1 km away, and Lisbon International Airport is 10 km away from Portas do Sol. The quaint Alfama district, with its cobbled streets and restaurants with Fado music, is 500 metres away. The Lisbon Cathedral is a 1-minute walk away while the historical Chiado area is a 5-minute walk.

Portas do Castelo Apartments are a collection of four unique self-catering apartments located in the historic district of Castelo/Alfama (12th century), nestled in the heart of a typical Lisbon staircase. This 19th-century building is situated between the castle and the cathedral, in a very quiet and peaceful area. The spacious apartments blend antique and modern decor and feature fully equipped kitchens with modern appliances, living rooms with flat-screen cable TV, bathrooms, heating, and Wi-Fi. You will also have access to terraces and/or a garden with outdoor furniture, perfect for enjoying a variety of meals.

Less than 2 minutes away, you will find the Cathedral (12th century) and the Castle of St. George (139 BC), offering the best views in the city. Nearby, you will discover small traditional taverns where you can savor authentic Portuguese cuisine. Next door, there is a pastry shop where you can enjoy breakfast, or visit the Portas do Sol Restaurant for breakfast or brunch with a magnificent view of the river. Commerce Square, just 5 minutes from the apartment, provides connections to Belém or Parque das Nações, as well as public transport links to the entire city. The famous tram 28, the most touristic in the city, also passes through the nearest street.
