Neighbourhood information

Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical centre full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars and restaurants. It is known for its breathtaking cliffs, and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical centre, great food and friendly people. As it is located on the coast, you can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area. The beautiful local beaches Dona Ana, Batata, Meia Praia do Pinhao near are all within a 10 to 15 minute stroll. Ponta da Piedade Lighthouse is 2 km from Portugal Home, where you can walk down the rocks to find boat tours through the caves. Lagos Zoo is 11 km away.
