Overlooking Douro River in Porto, the 5-star Palácio Do Freixo is set in a restored 18th-century Baroque building. It offers aristocratic public areas with stately architecture, combined with modern rooms with flat-screen TV. Rooms at Pestana Palácio do Freixo are spacious, air-conditioned and have a separate seating area. Bathrooms include luxury amenities and a hairdryer. Some rooms offer Douro River views. Guests can relax on a sun lounger next to the hotel's infinity pool which overlooks the river. The spa has a Turkish bath, heated indoor pool and a sauna. Massage treatments are also available. All children under 12 can only access the spa pool when accompanied by an adult.

Guests should specify their preference for bedding for any type of room before arrival. This includes requests for extra beds and the number of adults and children under 12 years old. This information should be noted in the Special Requests Box during booking and is subject to confirmation by the hotel.

Please note that the property reserves the right to pre-authorize credit cards before arrival. Payment of the full reservation amount is due at the property.

For bookings of 9 or more rooms, the hotel will charge a non-refundable prepayment of 50% of the entire reservation on the guest's credit card. Please note that breakfast is included for these types of rates, but half board is not included.
