QUINTA DA MOSCADINHA is a centenary place, in the southeast mountainous side of the island, where tradition and comfort arise side by side. Located in the small village of Camacha, famous for its traditions and folklore, this 19th century house gets its current name in 2019, from the MOSCADINHA herbal liqueur, a family recipe from the north side of the island. Our most recent project also includes an artisanal cider factory, with apples from the orchard that gives its name to the restaurant and honoring one of the most ancestral traditions of our Island. Here, the scenery is peaceful and romantic, and the surrounding idyllic landscape invites to relaxe in a close relationship with Nature. Beautiful gardens, among centenary trees and diverse flowers, our farm animals (chicken, sheep, cats,...!) and our growing orchard enrich the common areas of leisure and rest. In this welcoming space, guests will be able to enjoy a unique experience and take a set of happy and enriching memories. And at our countryside restaurant, "Adega do Pomar", will also allow our guests to taste real homemade and peasant style food! The lively capital of the island, Funchal, is just 20 minutes away (by car). Nearby are links to the public transport network.

Camacha is a small village in the small city of Santa Cruz, located in the interior of Madeira Island, more than 700 meters high. Located in a typical Madeiren mountain area, between hills and valleys, halfway from the sea to the mountains, it is surrounded by small villages and places of great natural value, such as Poiso and Montado do Pereiro. For lovers of outdoor activities, connected to nature, the location of Quinta da Moscadinha allows you to enjoy a wide variety of options, such as: hiking in levada trails, canyoning, bycicle rides, etc. Quinta da Moscadinha, also has some farm animals (chicken and sheep) that guests can interact with.
