Company information

We are a Belgian family with two teenage children who for years dreamt of running our own bed & breakfast. After travelling a big part of the world and some of the seven seas we decided to revisit our honeymoon destination: Portugal. We fell head over heels for this beautiful part of the Portuguese Silver Coast. We left our beloved city of Ghent in Belgium and moved to Serra do Bouro, a quaint village close to the Atlantic Ocean and the beaches of Foz do Arelho, São Martinho do Porto, Nazaré, Peniche and Baleal. During our trips around the world we stayed at many places, from exclusive luxury retreats to small ultra-basic beach huts. That diversity is what taught us the essentials for a traveller, which is exactly what we, at Flamboyant b&b, offer our guests every day: a comfortable bed, a well-equipped bathroom, a delicious breakfast and attentive service. Flamboyant is an adults only Boutique Bed and Breakfast aimed at the active and interested traveler who wants to experience a connection with Portugal. Here you will sleep in an authentic windmill or one of the three modern garden suites, decorated with Portuguese elements and European design classics. With only four detached double rooms, it is truly a small-scale and intimate place with lots of privacy. Our extensive, daily changing breakfast full of organic, local and homemade products is the icing on the cake after a wonderful night and the perfect start to a day full of new discoveries. Flamboyant is officially certified as a sustainable business. Enjoy your well-deserved vacation with a clean conscience. In order to support Flamboyant and the local hospitality industry, you cannot consume your own brought food and drinks in the B and B

Its location is just perfect to enjoy some peace and quiet, or as a home-from-home to venture out and discover the rugged Silver Coast, with the famous beaches of Foz do Arelho and São Martinho do Porto, and the Centro do Portugal region, dotted with medieval remains and quaint villages for those leisurely walks and late lunches in the sun.
