Feel very welcome in our apartment on the 1st floor overlooking the green garden. We, Thijs and Vera and our cats, chickens and dog Teddy, live under the apartment and help you with everything you need. Thijs is even a professional travel guide and can show you the most beautiful places by car or on foot. We also offer a babysitting service for your children. We do everything we can to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Vale Covo has about 1000 inhabitants and has with all basic comforts. Within walking distance you find 2 small supermarkets, a butcher, several cafes and a modern church. At 3 minutes by car is the nice town of Bombarral with a wide choice of restaurants, supermarkets, wine farms and shops. For day trips there are numerous attractions within a 20 minute drive, for example the beautiful sculpture gardens of Buddha Eden, the dinosaur park of Lourinha, the medieval village of Obidos, Peniche the rugged fishing village and of course the many (surf)beaches. Do you like an active holiday? Then take a walk among the vineyards in the vicinity or in the mountains of Montejunto or Cezaredes. Or consider diving in the Berlengas/Peniche, spot birds in Lake Obidos or learn to surf... in short: there is always something to do here!
