Located at the heart of Alba Iulia and fostering an amazing view over the Citadel, Hotel Cetate offers antique-style rooms in a historical building. At only a few steps away, the beautiful Reunification Cathedral and the Trail of the Gates of the Alba Carolina Fortress can be visited as well as most other touristic attractions within the city center. Our hotel offers complimentary parking and free Wi-Fi for your convenience. Enjoy dining in our spacious restaurant, which serves both traditional Romanian cuisine and a variety of international dishes. The rooms and suites are equipped with cable TV and small refrigerators. They feature carpeted floors and antique-style furniture that adds a touch of charm to your stay. Transfers to and from Sibiu / Cluj Airport can be arranged upon request as well as guided tours or tickets for numerous cultural events in Alba Iulia. Our location is easy accessible by public transport as well, the bus station being located at only 2 minutes away while the train station is just 2 kilometers away. Over the years, we have hosted renowned guests and memorable events, making each stay at Hotel Cetate Alba Iulia an opportunity to experience a part of the city’s heritage. While we are currently undergoing a rehabilitation process, we remain committed to preserving the tradition and history of our building while providing modern amenities for your comfort.
