Housed in a 15th-century farmhouse, this Dalarna countryside hotel is 400 meters from Lake Siljan. It offers free Wi-Fi and charming rooms with luxury beds and a flat-screen TV. Each individually decorated guest room at Åkerblads Hotell, Gästgiveri & Spa has a work desk and a private bathroom. Some rooms have a balcony and/or fireplace. The rooms are located in either the main building or one of the garden houses. The on-site restaurant uses local ingredients for its cuisine. It serves gourmet and traditional Nordic dishes. As a guest staying at the hotel entrance to the Spa in included, here you find an indoor pool, hydromassage pool and comfortable seating areas. You also have access to the 37-degree outdoor spring with associated bar and lounge area. Spa has an age limit of 15 years old from 16.00 daily. Relaxing treatments and a visit to the private Spa Suite are recommended to be booked in advance, the selection of treatment is to be found on the hotel’s homepage. Other facilities include gardens, a terrace, tennis court, pool table and ping pong. Popular area activities include fishing, cycling and hiking. Leksand Golf Club is less than 20 minutes’ drive away.
