In winter, the area becomes a winter sports area with skiing and skating. It is only 17 km to Malung and about 50 km to Mora. In winter, for those who want to ski, there are trails by the lake and the ski stadium in Malung. Those who want to go downhill can go to Kläppen, which is about 65 km away.
