Cozy mountain cabin with sauna, fireplace and 5 + 2 beds – welcome to your dream accommodation in Sälen! Are you dreaming of a few days in the mountains? Then our cozy and charming cabin in Sälen is for you. We have 68 well-planned square meters that contain two bedrooms, a very cozy living room with a large dining area and a large comfortable corner sofa with a fireplace. With the fully equipped kitchen, the cabin offers everything you need for a relaxing stay – whether you come for skiing, hiking or just want to enjoy the peace and quiet in a beautiful mountain environment. The living room is the heart of the cabin – here you gather around the fireplace after the day's adventure. In the generous corner sofa you can watch TV or movies, have game nights or just relax with your mobile phone or tablet (WiFi via fiber is available). The sofa is also a bed and can easily accommodate two people. The dining area has plenty of space for large meals, cozy breakfasts and late conversations - the light from the windows and lit candles make it cozy and atmospheric. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, stove/oven and all the utensils you could possibly need - here it is easy to cook, everything from everyday dishes to festive meals. Bedroom 1 has a large and comfortable double bed (160 cm) with a practical pull-out bed - perfect for a small family or three people traveling together. Bedroom 2 is furnished with a classic bunk bed, perfect for the children or a group of friends. The bathroom has a shower and toilet, and directly adjacent is the cabin's own sauna - a great favorite after cold winter days or long mountain hikes. The cabin is very cozy with carefully selected furnishings and furniture.

We who own the cottage are often there ourselves, both in summer and winter. We like the peace and quiet but are also very active, we hike, paddle and swim etc. in the summer, in the winter it's a lot of skiing, especially we do a lot of cross-country skiing, there are cross-country trails only about 200 meters from the cottage.

A favorite is the hike to Njupeskär – Sweden’s highest waterfall, which you can experience just over an hour’s drive away. The area has several restaurants, cafés and mountain taverns – everything from genuine waffle huts to modern brasseries. You can easily travel to Sälen by car or bus, and Scandinavian Mountains Airport is just 25 minutes away, with direct flights from several locations in Sweden and Europe.
