Guesthouse Simolle is located in a small quiet community of 6 houses. Next to the forest, and with the Indals river and walking trail across the road. The apartment is located in the basement of the house. There is a large garden with flowers and space to sit where you can relax when the weather allows it. There is a BBQ available. The apartment has in the livingroom a table and chairs, a little couch and two beds. There is coffee and tea plus a water-heater available. The bedroom is located as a separate room next to the living room. Heaters are available for both rooms. Kitchen sink and water are located in the laundry room next to the apartment, which also has a little kitchenette with a 2 burner stove, a micro wave, refrigerator, washing machine and iron. When it gets colder there is a woodstove to warm up the basement. From september to april the northern lights are often visible from the garden. There is a private guest bathroom in the basement. there is no wifi available. Internet on your own device might not be fantastic in the apartment. It works next to the window, and outside. Guests have their own entrance to the basement in the summer. In winter entrance might be through the main door. There is no breakfast but if you let me know in time it can be arranged. the accommodation is next to road 87

Your host is in her 50s and has traveled the world for many years. She moved to Sweden in 2021 to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Jämtland region. She is looking forward to welcome other travelers and is able to tell and if necessary show the guest all the best places and walking trails in the area.

Simolle is only about one kilometer from the Krångede Kraftwerk and its museum, Öratjärn is a nice swimming surrounded by trees only 3 km away. There is also a nice quiet spot to swim in the Indals river nearby. There are many {gravel} roads to drive into the hills and forests where if you are lucky you will meet a moose or even a bear. Hammarstrand is 18 km away and has two supermarkets and a gas station. Östersund is a 80 km drive and the tourist attraction Döda fallet 28 km.
