We are a group of friends that recently bought the property. The B&B is run by Inna and Laura. We just recently bought the place from the previous owners and friends Sune and Mia. We live in one of the houses on the farm together with friends and a cat. We love developing the place and always have a couple of fun projects going on. We enjoy the countryside and how peaceful we feel here at Grimsnäs. We enjoy exploring the area, have a dip in the lake and have common dinners with our friends. We like to pick wild edible plants and mushrooms.

Grimsnas Herrgard is Bed & Breakfast Hotel embedded in the beautiful Swedish nature, with a peaceful lake and old protected forest. The place has existed since 1550 and was already a guesthouse around 1930. The rooms today have comfortable box spring beds with mattresses on top. There is a sink & mirror in every room. All guests receive nice white bathrobes, towels and the beds are made. We offer a total of 14 rooms across two different buildings - the yellow "Sun house" and the red "Magasinet house". All rooms are different and have their own character. Some rooms have private bathrooms. There are common areas and there is a large well-equipped kitchen in the red house for those who want to cook their own food. There are barbecues in the garden and a self built fitness area in the barn. The property has a lake in walking distance, where you can take a swim and enjoy the sunset. With us you can sleep well, explore nature and enjoy the countryside of Småland!

The land is a protected biotope with rich wildlife. The environment invites you to take nice walks or just sit in the garden and listen to the rustle of the forest and the chirping of birds. There is also a hiking trail through the farm, the Utvandrarleden. Perfect for those who want to experience more nature. We are located in the middle of the Kingdom of Crystal with 3 km to the nearest glassworks. Feel free to go on an excursion - there are many nice places within about an hour's drive; Utvandrarbygden, Kalmar, Öland and Karlskrona. In nearby Lessebo there is the only operating hand paper mill in the Nordic countries, which is really worth a trip. Then you can return to the peace of Grimsnäs.
