I was born and raised on this farm but now live in Malmö. Sometime in the future I plan to move back to this farm, but until then I will rent it out to tourists and other guests.

Welcome to the country and the small community of Karlsborg, located just outside Ystad. Here you can stay on an old farm with the Skåne plains as your nearest neighbor and close to Mossbystrand. The accommodation has a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms with large beds, one bedroom with a single bed and a large living room. Free parking is available next to the accommodation.

Around the accommodation there are open fields with beautiful views and grazing horses and cows, perfect for long walks. The wonderful Mossbystrand beach is reached by road four kilometers south where there is a kiosk that sells ice cream and food during the summer. The accommodation has lots of beach toys for children that guests can borrow. Beyond Mossbystrand you will find Abbekås, which is an old fishing village, there is also a nice golf course and restaurants to visit, two kilometers from the accommodation. In the neighboring village of Rynge, freshly baked bread rolls are sold every Saturday morning at "Karlsborg Bagaren" and at Rynge Idrottsplats there is both a playground and training facilities. In the surrounding areas there are many fine churches and castles, including Vallösa Kyrka, Marsvinsholms slott and Svaneholms slott. The nearest train station is in Rydsgård or Svarte. Other attractions and sights to visit nearby: - Ystads Djurpark - Ystad's famous street houses, Västra Vallgatan etc. - Ales Stenar - Mossbylund - Hörte Brygga - Österlen and all its players, including Karl-Fredrik on Österlen, Österlenchoklad in Skåne Tranås, Mandelmanns Trädgårdar in Rörum - Sandhammaren's miles-long beaches - Both Malmö and Lund can be reached either by train or car
