Our cottage is situated in the middle of nature, and yet very close to Stockholm. The house is part of an organic/biodynamic vegetable farm, it is 200 m away from the farm buildings in the forest, were you can enjoy peace and quiet, listen to birds and maybe see wild life such as a deer if you are out in the evenings or early mornings. Around the farm is the beautiful landscape of Sörmland, with a mixture of forest, fields, lakes and hills. It is far away from any main roads, there is lots of opportunity for walking, cykling, swimming, and you may find blueberrys and mushrooms in the forest.
On the farm we produce organic/Demeter certified vegetables in a greenhouse and outside, we even produce fermented vegetables like saurkraut and Kimchi.. In our farmshop fresh vegetables can be bought from the middle of July.
Stockholm center is only 80 km away, it can be reached by car or train from Gnesta, the nearest town. You can also do excursions to other towns like Nyköping, Mariefred and Trosa who offer a variety of activities for both young and old.
