Welcome to Apartment Brunarca, a cozy wooden retreat located in the serene hamlet of Pristava. Perfect for up to 6 guests, the apartment offers a warm, rustic atmosphere surrounded by nature. The space features a separate bedroom with a double bed (180x200 cm), an additional 120x200 cm and 90x200 cm bed, and a comfortable sofa bed in the living area. The apartment is equipped with air conditioning and underfloor heating, ensuring comfort year-round. The charming bathroom includes a modern shower. Outside, you can relax on the wooden bench, sip a drink, and savor local products like homemade sausages or order organic, hay-fed beef straight from the farm. Disconnect from everyday stress—here, there’s no TV and limited WiFi, inviting you to truly immerse yourself in nature. Children can play freely on the large courtyard equipped with swings, a small soccer area, and bikes for exploring.

We are the Košir family, proud caretakers of our traditional farm for several generations. My name is Melita, I run the household together with my husband Jožko and our large loving family. We are parents of 8 children (and also proud grandparents!). Life on our farm keeps us active and connected to nature, from caring for the animals to preparing delicious homemade products. My wife Melita is a trained cook and I enjoy creating a pleasant atmosphere for all our guests. My husband Jožko is an innovative farmer, mechanic and talented accordionist who passes on the family tradition to his children. Apartment Brunarca is located in the idyllic and peaceful hamlet of Pristava, just 5 km from the center of Borovnica. Right next to the apartment lies the picturesque Pekel Gorge, where the Otavščica stream creates five stunning waterfalls—a true feast for the eyes and a popular hiking destination. The surroundings are adorned with meadows and forests, where you can often spot chamois, deer, foxes, or even a bear. The sound of the waterfalls, fresh air, and tranquil nature will fill you with peace and relaxation. The location is an excellent starting point for exploring nearby attractions—Ljubljana city center is just a 30-minute drive, as well as other must-see destinations like Ljubljansko Barje, Postojna, and beyond. The apartment is accessible via a short gravel road through the forest, further emphasizing its secluded charm and closeness to pristine nature. Borovnica also features a train station, providing convenient access to other parts of Slovenia. Free parking is available at the apartment, making it easy to explore on foot, by car, or using public transport.
