The apartments Jakelj are situated in the beautiful and peaceful location in Rateče - Planica, near Kranjska Gora, Julian Alps, Slovenia. The apartments have them own entrance and terrace with garden tables and chairs. There is plenty of parking available. Guests can use a large garden to play. There is also a storage room for bicycles and skis.

Rateče is a nice pleasant village with good restaurants and shop; in short with all that you need for your holidays. Rateče is a wonderful starting point for several beautiful excursions, mountain walks and tours. Skiing, snowboarding, sleding, cross-country skiing. In the fields of Rateče there are many cross-country tracks leading to Tamar, Planica and Kranjska Gora. We are proud of the new Nordic Center Planica, where there are running polygons, even in the summer. 5 minutes by car, you need to beautiful ski resorts in Kranjska Gora or Podkoren. You can drive to the nearby ski slopes on Tarvisio or on the high-mountain ski resort Monte Lussari(16 km). For small children, there is a beautiful ski resort in Planica, where is the place of the world records in ski flying. A well-organized cycling route from Rateče to Kranjska Gora, Gozd Martuljek, Mojstrana, and in the west in Italy and Austria. A very nice ride is on the Laghi di Fusine (8 km). Adrenaline cyclists expecting Bike park Kranjska Gora. Walking and trekking to Zelenci: the 2.source of the Sava River(15 min), a beautiful hike to the three borders (1.5 h), from Planica to the top of the Cipernik (2.5 h) or in Tamar (1 h).
