Why?...... that's why.... if you would like to wake up and drink your morning coffee while the birds sing, rest and calm your mind and spirit, watch the spruces swaying in the wind, listen to the rustling of the leaves on the trees, watch the dragonflies dance over the pond during the day and listen to the frogs' concert in the evening... .. then our house is just for you. However, there are some instructions and recommendations that must be consideration: - The facility 🏡 is powered by electricity via solar ☀️☀️☀️ cells, therefore the consumption or use of electricity is limited. - Only mobile devices, laptops,.... should be connected to the sockets, as various household appliances are too powerful for the electrical system in the house. - Water must be brought in 🚒 and filled into a tank, therefore rational consumption is recommended, especially in the summer months. - Tap water is not drinkable 🚱, so it must be boiled. Drinking water is provided by the host. - Instructions for proper burning of the rustic stove are located in the house. - The outdoor fireplace 🔥 should be burned carefully to prevent a fire; especially on dry days. - The pond is not intended for swimming, as various animals and plants live in it. - WASTE SHOULD BE SEPARATED: -biological waste separately, -plastic, cans and tetrapak together, -glass separately, -paper or cardboard can be burned. The house is located in the middle of the forest, at the foot of the plateau Jelovica, at an altitude of about 900m. After arriving in Bohinjska Bistrica, drive 3 km towards the village of Nemški Rovt, and from there another 3 km in the direction of Soriška planina. Unfortunately, on the section that marks the way to Orožnova koča, you will be greeted by a macadam, but well-maintained road, along which you have to drive another kilometer to reach our/your destination.

We renovated and arranged the house with heart, enthusiasm and expectations. The equipment and details are made with love and a lot of personal touch. We want you to feel WELCOME.

A few more tips, where you can eat, see, maybe buy something local,..... If you are a gourmet, the guest house and boarding house is REALLY right for you. (3 km from accommodation in the village of Nemški Rovt), if you want a decent meal, come to the TRIPIČ hotel (7km from the accommodation), you can also dine at the ŠTACION railway station (7 km from the accommodation), you will also eat well at the PRISTAVEC guest house in the village of Polje (12 km from the accommodation). But since you're coming to BOHINJ, you can't pass by Lake Bohinj, by the famous bridge and the church (15 km from the accommodation). VOGEL and the gondola ride (20 km from the accommodation) will enchant you as a viewpoint. but if you are a hiker, you can climb the nearby hills, visit mountains, gorges ........ On certain days you can visit the local market in Bohinjska Bistrica, you can watch traditional and musical events, attractions, e.g. (Savica waterfall, Grmečica waterfall, Mostnica basin,...). You have several vantage points at your disposal and more and more......
