Welcome to Golavskov Mill, a unique countryside house with over a century of history, where tradition meets the comfort of modern living. Set in a peaceful natural environment by a stream, surrounded by meadows and forests, our property offers the perfect retreat for relaxation, family holidays, or a romantic getaway. We offer 4 cozy and well-equipped accommodation units: • Apartment 1 (25 m²): ground floor, for 2 guests, 2 separate beds (90x200) • Apartment 2 (35 m²): ground floor, for up to 3 guests, 2 beds (90x200) + sofa bed • Apartment 3 (25 m²): first floor, for 2 guests, 2 beds (80x200) • Apartment 4 (25 m²): for up to 4 guests, 2 beds (90x200) + sofa bed All units feature contactless entry via smart locks, offering privacy and convenience. Guests have access to free private parking, an electric vehicle charging station, and a charming common area with a traditional wood-fired oven – perfect for relaxing and socializing. For children, we provide a dedicated play corner with a drawing table, toys, board games, and puzzles. A shared balcony and terrace are available, as well as laundry facilities including a washing machine and dryer. 🐾 Pets are welcome (for an additional fee), and a breakfast basket filled with local delicacies is available upon request (surcharge applies). 📍Golavkov Mill is an excellent starting point for exploring nature, hiking, cycling, and visiting cultural landmarks. Golavskov Mill is located in the charming village of Matke near Prebold, surrounded by nature at the crossroads of the Savinja Valley and the pre-Alpine region. This peaceful setting offers stunning views of forests and meadows and easy access to a wide variety of natural and cultural attractions. It’s a perfect base for guests looking for relaxation, active holidays, or an authentic countryside escape. Numerous hiking and cycling trails are available nearby – from gentle walks along the stream to more demanding climbs, such as Gora Oljka, St. Lawrence Hill, or Kal. Nature lovers will enjoy exploring Mozirski gaj, a stunning botanical park open year-round, and the breathtaking Logar Valley, one of Slovenia’s most beautiful alpine destinations, less than an hour’s drive away. For culture seekers, the nearby town of Celje offers a rich historical background with its old castle, museums, and charming old town. Other nearby sights include the Žiče Monastery, the Velenje Mining Museum, and the Šaleška and Savinja wine routes, perfect for wine tasting and sampling local cuisine.
