Our old stone house belongs to our family already for many centuries and is located in the middle of the Karst region and the old part of the protected village Kobjeglava. The house has three air-conditioned sleeping rooms set-up in Mediterranean style, one bathroom, two toilets, one kitchen with eating area, one balcony with great overview to the region and a outdoor sitting area. There is plenty of space for parking on the plot.
We studied in Graz and Salzburg (Austria), are living near Vienna and were living as Expats in Brazil, UK, Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany and South Africa. We also own a nice town house in the Alps in Saalfelden, where we rent out two flats to tourists that like the mountains and skiing in the biggest ski resorts in Austria.
What we love on the house in the Karst region are - The untouched architecture with all its similarities to the Tuscany, Provence and somehow also Scotland - The sea nearby - The Italian temperament in Trieste and other cities nearby - All the castles - The possibilities of daytrips – even to Venice - All the possibilities for hiking and mountain biking - All the vineyards with all great colours in autumn - All the caves - Golfing and horse riding and not to forget - The Cappuccino at the Sistiana beach!
