This cozy, fully renovated apartment (June 2025) offers a unique stay surrounded by nature, horses, and the warmth of handcrafted wooden furniture made in our family’s wood workshop. Built with sustainable, eco-friendly materials, the space reflects harmony with its natural surroundings. Pet friendly :) The apartment features two bedrooms (1 double bed, 2 single beds), a comfortable living and dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator and microwave – perfect for light cooking and storing your favorite foods. A washing machine is also available for your convenience. Step onto the private terrace and soak in calming views of the forest. With prior arrangement guests are welcome to explore our organic garden and enjoy seasonal fruits and vegetables. Our horses live on the property – feel free to visit, feed, or help groom them with our guidance. Children can meet our friendly goats and learn about everyday life on a small, nature-focused homestead. We offer horse accommodation (upon request, with an extra charge), including homegrown mountain hay, a run-in shelter, and a fenced paddock. The surrounding trails are perfect for horseback riding through peaceful woodlands. For cycling enthusiasts, well-marked trails connect Borovnica with Menišija, Cerknica, Postojna, Vrhnika, and beyond. Just minutes away lies the dramatic Pekel Gorge, with its waterfalls and a hidden natural pool – ideal for a refreshing summer swim. The Technical Museum of Bistra is only 9 km away.
