An open wood-burning fireplace heats all the interior spaces, creating a romantic and cosy atmosphere, and the whole ambience is enlivened by more than 100 metres of lighting, which is a feast for the eyes. The surrounding area offers plenty of walking opportunities with beautiful views as far as Triglav, and bicycle rental is available. You can walk to the Aladin Zoo, to Debenec Hill, where you can enjoy beautiful views of the Dolenjska hills and valleys, and enjoy delicious calamari in the hut. There are also good pubs and restaurants in the surrounding area (Trebnje, Mirna, Šentrupert, Mokronog). Longer trails lead you to the Nebesa lookout point above Šentrupert, to Trebelna and to the Klevevž natural spa near Šmarjeta.
