Vineyard cottage Rataj 1 is situated on the slopes of Trška Gora above Novi mesto, with beautiful views of the town, the Krka River Valley and the wide slopes of the Gorjanci Mountains. It is for four people and is equipped with all amenities, stove and oven, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, SatTV, WIFI. Heating is combined with a wood-burning fireplace and electric heating. Behind the cottage there is a shelter with a table, a fireplace for barbecues, an outdoor shower and, a special feature of this cottage, a hot tub. Guests can also enjoy in the sauna (extra charge 20 EUR). On the ground floor, there is a wine cellar and a lounge with a fireplace for a banquet for 10 people. Guests are given a key to their own wine cellar, which offers a selection of local wines, local honey and various spirits. Guests can use the bath barrel to relax in 36 degrees hot water. We charge 60,00 EUR for filling the bath with water and for providing firewood to heat the barrel. In the immediate vicinity there is also a tourist cottage Rataj 2 for three persons, but despite their proximity, the two cottages retain their intimacy, which is very suitable for the company of friends.

Vineyard Cottage Rataj is located on quiet and peaceful vineyard hill Trška Gora, above Novo mesto the capital of Dolenjska region. Cottage is surrounded by vineyards and other vineyard cottages with a marvellous view on Novo mesto and Krka river valley. For active guests, the surrounding area offers a multitude of activities from hiking, cycling, boating on the Krka River, for the adventurous there is a sports plane ride, a parachute jump or a tandem paraglider flight, while for the more casual there is a visit to the spa, the town's sights or just a spot of shopping. Vineyard Cottages are a perfect staring point for hiking and cycling trips around hills in Dolenjska region. Nearby golf course in Otočec, spa centres in Dolenjske Toplice and Šmarješke Toplice, Krka river and sightseeing landmarks of Dolenjska and Bela Krajina regions offer plenty of possibilities for an active holiday.
