Relocating to Koh Samui from Cirencester, UK, in 2005, David's love affair with Thailand began in 1990, with Koh Samui emerging as his favoured destination. Motivated by the prospect of a new business venture, he made the bold decision to establish a thriving rental enterprise on the island. With a background in Cirencester's flooring business, coupled with extensive involvement in property development and rental, David's passion for creating diverse properties flourished in the UK. Seeking a fresh challenge, the allure of Koh Samui became irresistible. Since his move, David has successfully crafted 15 properties, including 11 luxurious villas available for rental. Ranging from 1 to 4 bedrooms, each villa boasts its own private swimming pool, with four offering breathtaking ocean views, all designed in unique and tropical styles. Notably, our flagship Villa Moonstone, a source of great pride, reached completion in January 2020. Villa Emerald is for couples wanting a special rental, with magnificent ocean views to the islands and mainland 20 km away. Within 5-10 min drive from the Villa there are fine restaurants serving Thai and European food, mini-marts for daily needs, several laundry shops, well reputed massage shops and taxi services. Five min drive away is local Laem Sett beach, quiet and secluded. Located on the beach is the rustic Thai style Cool Bar where you can enjoy lovely food and drinks whilst soaking up the tranquil atmosphere. There is also Paw Paw Restaurant. Also close by is Shasa Resort and Centara Villas Resort which open their doors to non residents and have many facilities to enjoy, including smart restaurants and bars. Less than 10 min by car is the fishing village of Baan Hua Thanon where fresh fish, fruit and vegetables are sold at the local market and home of several small local shops, doctor's surgery, cafes, restaurants, 24 hour Seven-Eleven grocery shop with ATM and a Chinese Temple. Only 10 minutes away is Lamai beach with its many excellent restaurants. Complimentary/free automatic CAR included with the villa rental. Please note: All our cars are insured, with the guest being responsible, and limited, for the first 20,000 Baht of any damage. There is no insurance on mopeds where the guest pays for any damage incurred. It is the guests' responsibility to ensure that they also have their own comprehensive Travel & Health Insurance, and appropriate driving documentation for Thailand. All our vehicles will have a full tank of petrol for you. Please ensure that you return the vehicle at the end of your stay with a full tank. No 'off-roading' or driving in harsh terrain. Lotus's Superstore and the large food supermarket, Makro, both located in Lamai, are only a 12 min drive from the villa. You will also find a number of 24 hour smaller convenience stores of 7-Eleven on the island. Nowhere on the island is more than 45 minutes drive away.
