We host visitors, travelers, and tourists—and we look for friends rather than customers. Staying with us will be a memorable experience, and we hope you’ll feel our home to be your home away from home. Casa Brazil began in 1988 as Café Brazil, a small café where the founder often played Brazilian music with a local band, creating a warm and lively atmosphere. A few years later, the café added five guest bungalows, known as Brazil Bungalows, to welcome travelers looking for a cozy stay. When the café and bungalows were replaced by the present accommodation in 1999, we kept the name “Brazil” so that our long-time guests would know that we are still around and welcoming them.

Casa Brazil Homestay is tucked inside a small side street filled with locally owned guesthouses, just 260 meters from Karon Beach, where many of our guests love to pop over several times a day. At the main street—only a short walk from our entrance—you’ll find a 24-hour convenience store, pharmacy, laundromat, local restaurants ranging from simple Thai eateries to chic beach cafés, fruit stands, massage shops, banks, and a variety of small stores and everyday services. Getting around is simple: besides taxi options, there is also a local bus stop for Phuket Town right on the main street, making it easy to explore Phuket Old Town, Sunday market, and other parts of the island. This neighbourhood isn’t a designer resort zone—it’s a practical local street where small guesthouses and a mix of international visitors share the space. There’s nothing fancy or traditionally “cultural” to see, but it offers a straightforward everyday atmosphere and all the essentials you need within easy walking distance of the beach.
