Wake up to soft sea breeze, chirping birds and the soothing waves at Yao Yai Beach Resort, a tropical resort on the beautiful island of Koh Yao Yai. Its sea-facing air-conditioned villas are made of natural materials and enjoy amazing sunset views. Surrounded by coconut trees and butterflies, the villas, which are between 10 and 30 meters from the private 75-metre long beach, all come with a mosquito net and private balcony. Most villas boast a shared pool. Located by the beach, some villas have a flat-screen TV and minibar. Private bathrooms have shower facilities. Yao Yai Beach Resort is accessible by ferries from Koh Sireh, Krabi and Koh Phi Phi. From the local pier on Koh Yao Yai, it is a 30-minute taxi ride to the resort. Guests can go canoeing or fishing by the sea, or take a relaxing stroll along the 1.5 km white sandy beach. Bicycle rentals and day trips can be arranged at the tour desk. The resort also provides massage and 24-hour room service. The on-site restaurant serves delicious Thai and Mediterranean dishes, as well as fresh seafood. Refreshing cocktails can be enjoyed at the beach bar.

Getting to the resort:

1. Ferries depart from Jean Wanid Pier in Koh Sireh to Koh Yao Yai 3 times daily at 10:30, 14:00 and 17:00. On Fridays, ferries depart at 10:00 and 17:00 only.

2. Ferries depart from Bang Rong Pier to Koh Yao Yai from 08:30 - 16:00 and 17:00.

3. Ferries depart from Ao Thalen Pier (Krabi) to Koh Yao Yai at 13:00. From Koh Yao Yai, it is a further 30-minute taxi ride to Yao Yai Beach Resort.

Please note that the hotel does not accept American Express credit cards.

Please note that the resort provides free pick-up services from the piers for guests staying for a minimum of 3 nights between November till April.

Guests are kindly advised to inform the resort in advance of their arrival details.
