The Dar Fatima guest house is located in the heart of the city of Tozeur, between the Medina (old city) and the oases. Typically designed and furnished
in the “Djeridian” style (the region comprising Tozeur and the surrounding villages bears the name “Djérid”), Dar Fatima is a reproduction of the owner's
family home, built in 1890, and where the Rabeh family (father, mother and sons, aunts and uncles, children and grandchildren) lived, with—formerly—the
adjoining premises which sheltered their animals (horses, cows, donkeys, etc.). This guest house offers a combination of a change of scenery (Tozeur being at
the gateway of the desert, but at the same time being lush with its century-old
palm-tree groves) and great comfort (spacious and well-equipped rooms,
balconies with a view on the ancient city and the oases, and all the amenities allowing you to stay in tune with the modern world).The location of Dar Fatima gives you access to all the cultural, tourist and social activities of the city. The owners of the guest house (also being the owners of the Villa Fatima Guest House), retired teachers, are there to welcome you, accompany you, and help you discover the beauty of their region.
