A luxurious private African Villa tucked away in a local fishing village steps away from Lake Victoria and the Nile River. Timbuktoo's spiritual innovation and isolated location provide the peace, tranquility, and culture one need's to revive, rejuvenate, and inspire.
We are Kelly and Joel, zealous about traveling, social development, education and the Arts.
We are wanderlusts at heart, but settled in Uganda and fervent about investing and developing Uganda through creative initiatives.
We have been inspired by our global travels to create Timbuktoo, a passion project intended to provide a blissfully, unique experience that allows you to unplug, connect with nature, explore your creativity.
We are located in a local fishing village just a two minute walk from the shores of Lake Victoria. The area is safe and easy to navigate during the day for cycles or leisurely walks. We are less than 5 minutes from Jinja town where you will find a variety of restaurants and unique shopping experiences.
The best way to get around is by car. If you do not travel by car, you can hop on local transport such as a boda boda or make arrangements with a private taxi.
