Just a 2-minute drive, or a short walk, will take you to Patton Beach, a dog-friendly beach that is great for swimming. Nearby Patton Beach you will find more entertainment and dining options such as the famous Garwoods Bar and Grill, a wonderful lakefront dining experience, CB’s Bistro and Pizza for family dinners, Magic Carpet Mini Golf and Arcade for the little ones, and a 7-11 for all of your late-night needs. Those wonderful trails on the National Forest system near the home are perfect for enjoying some XC skiing and snowshoeing in the winter months. If a little less physical activity is what you are looking for, you are just a 10-minute drive west to Tahoe City and 8 minutes east from Kings Beach. In both places, you will find sandy beaches, farmers markets and major grocery stores, golf courses, small boutique shopping, waterfront parks, golf courses, weekly concerts in the summer, and a wide variety of bars and restaurants. You are also 10 minutes from the Nevada state line, where you will find casinos and concert venues. This home is the perfect launching pad for any Lake Tahoe experience!
