Hi! Seth and Emmye are hosts for unique homes atop Lookout Mountain. In 2018, we went on an adventure to find our first home and job after college. The first tiny home we stayed in made us fall in love with this area, community, and a new concept of living. Welcome to Blueberry Falls Farm, a unique retreat in Mentone, AL, where three modern and eclectic tiny homes sit on the banks of Bent Creek. Surrounded by woods and flowing water, this property can host up to 16 guests, making it ideal for family gatherings, multi-family getaways, or group trips with friends. Here, nature’s beauty meets cozy comfort, with hot tubs, porches, and creekside views setting the stage for unforgettable memories. Each home is thoughtfully designed to balance rustic charm with modern convenience. You’ll find a queen bed on the main floor, a loft with twin beds, and a queen pull-out couch in the living room. Every cottage features covered porches, propane grills, fire pits, and its own private hot tub (available for an additional fee). Relax on the porch with your morning coffee, enjoy dinner under the stars, or soak in the hot tub while listening to the gentle sounds of the creek. Just a short walk away, the community space offers even more ways to enjoy the property. An overlook bridge and rooftop deck provide breathtaking views of the waterfall and pond, while the Creek House Lounge below is home to foosball, crafts, and a PlayStation for all-ages fun. During blueberry season (late June through early August), guests are welcome to pick fresh blueberries from the farm—a seasonal treat you can enjoy on-site or take home with you. The property is conveniently located just minutes from downtown Mentone, Desoto Falls, and Desoto State Park, so you’ll have easy access to hiking trails, waterfalls, local dining, and charming shops. Whether you’re planning days filled with outdoor adventures or slow mornings on the porch, this is the kind of place where connections deepen and time slows down.

Blueberry Falls Farm sits riverside on Bent Creek, surrounded by woods, rolling fields, and the gentle soundtrack of flowing water. The farm itself is part of the local landscape — you’ll see the overlook bridge, a rooftop deck with waterfall views, and the Creek House Lounge just a short walk away. That shared space (foosball, crafts, PlayStation) and the bathhouse make the property feel like a small, welcoming village where groups can spread out and still gather easily. The wider area is quintessential Mentone: leafy roads, hiking trails, and classic mountain stops are all close by. DeSoto Falls and DeSoto State Park are just minutes away for waterfall hikes and scenic overlooks, and Little River Canyon and Cloudland Canyon are within easy driving distance for longer day trips. Downtown Mentone’s galleries, cafes, and local eateries are also nearby when you want a meal out, a coffee, or to browse artisan shops. Seasonal life on the farm adds a special layer to your stay. From late June through mid-August the blueberry bushes are open for u-pick, and the annual blueberry festival (second weekend of July) brings a lively, community feel to the property — a sweet way to taste local flavor. Because this is an active farm, you may notice routine maintenance or see staff (and the friendly farm dog) around; it’s all part of the working-farm atmosphere that makes the place feel lived-in, lively, and uniquely local.
