A Sentimental Journey is a trip back in time to the romantic Victorian era up to the nostalgic 1940's era. The rooms are beautifully decorated with antiques and dreamy wallpapers. Located on Lincoln's path in Gettysburg's historic district. Walk to downtown restaurants, gift shops and museums. Relax on the front porch and contemplate the huge ancient "witness" sycamore tree across the street. Only 2 blocks from the National Cemetery. You have 24 hour access to the continental breakfast room and a common living room and outdoor seating areas. Free parking, WiFi, mini fridge in your room, TV, all rooms have a private en suite bathroom.
We are on site most of the day to clean, run our ice cream shop next door and to check in our excellent guests. We are available to our overnight guests 24 hours a day if there are any issues. We live just two buildings away from the inn.
