This beautiful one bedroom top floor ocean/pool view condo in this ocean front complex, has been completely renovated with new kitchen, bath, flooring and new window A/C in the bedroom. It works great with the louvered windows closed and the bedroom door closed. (We have a split a/c system, but are waiting for HOA final approval to put the compresser in). There are new DC current ceiling fans in the living room and dining room that really cool it down nicely when the front door is open and the security sliding door is locked, the slider is open and the living room louvers are open. It has a a king sized bed and fold out couch in the living room for additional family members or friends. Enjoy great views overlooking the pool and the ocean from this nice sized lanai where you can enjoy dining or relaxing morning to night. We have a smart tv, so if you have a Netflix, Amazon or another account, you can enjoy special movies. Enjoy the heated pool with rinse off shower, restrooms and a sheltered library with shared books. There is a gate down by the ocean to go down on the rocks and catch a fish for dinner. There is also a bench ocean front for enjoying whale watching, year round sunsets and catching the green flash. It is located among beautiful gardens and coastal palms on Alii Drive, a one mile stroll to popular restaurants (such as Huggos and Huggos On the Rocks), shopping, beaches and much more. Check in is at 3:00pm and check out is at 11:00am. Unlike a lot of vacation rentals, there is no parking fee or check-in fee. It is 10.5 miles from Kona International Airport.

My husband’s family has been in Hawaii for four generations. He moved over here from Oahu in 1983 and has been a water operations owner for 34 years. I moved here in 2002 from Washington State and worked for Mokulele Airlines until I got into real estate. Between my husband and I we have five children and seven grandchildren. We enjoy an occasional staycation the condo. We enjoy golfing, boating and traveling. We purchased this Condo in 2018

It is located among beautiful gardens and coastal palms on Alii Drive (the main strip in Kona) a one mile stroll to popular restaurants (such as Huggo's and Huggo's On the Rocks), shopping, beaches and much more. There is a nice coffee cafe a short walk to the left in the morning that's kind of a treat. They have specialty coffee, smoothies & breakfast sandwiches. I heard the snorkeling is nice south of the condo just before Kona OnaNalu Condos. If you continue south, Kahuluu Beach Park is a great snorkel spot. If you drive to Captain Cook and go down past the Painted Church to Honounou the Place of Refuge, just to the right of it is Two Step for great snorkeling. If you head that way one day, stop at the Coffee Shack in Captain Cook. It is on the right when you are heading toward the snorkeling down South. It looks like a shack and is a great place for breakfast or lunch with a view overlooking Kealakekua Bay. If you go North one day, Keahole Bay is a great place to snorkel and check out the turtles. You can walk or drive in. North of there is Mauna Lani (about 45 minutes from the condo). Go around the roundabout and parallel the highway until you get to 49 Black Sand Beach. The guard lets a certain number of cars in at a time, but people come and go quite often. It's a great snorkel beach. You can also drive past the Mauna Lani Shops and take the first left and park on the right in the free parking and walk into the Mauna Lani Beach. You will come to the Mauna Lani Terrace and just walk through the fishponds or along the ocean to the left. If you go out to eat, we like Quinn's. They have an open-air seating area and a great variety of food at a great value. You can park across the street and the King Kamehameha (Marriott) Hotel and validate your ticket at Quinns. We also like Thai Rin right across the street from the ocean for great people watching. Original Thai behind Firestone is great for takeout or Uber Delivery. Papa Kona’s is ocean front and good.
