Located on a half-acre in a tranquil neighborhood, this house offers a peaceful long-term vacation rental (28-day minimum) while close to local attractions. With a private dock on the canal, complete with kayaks, you can embark on excursions along a mangrove river, where encounters with dolphins, manatees, turtles, and birds await. You can dock a boat up to 17 feet long or cast a line for a chance to reel in a catch of the day. Relaxation beckons from the hammock, the upper deck of the screened lanai, or the private pool, heated year-round. Access to Placida Harbour Club adds an extra dimension to the stay, granting exclusive privileges such as access to three pools, three clubhouses, a sauna, a hot tub, a workout room, and tennis/pickleball facilities. For those craving more active pursuits, take a 10 minute ride on the Harbor Club's private ferry ride to Little Gasparilla Island, where you will have free roam of seven miles of secluded Gulf of Mexico beach that is not accessible to the general public. With two adult bikes included, you can easily explore the surrounding area, or hop traverse the 11 miles of paved bike paths. Conveniently located just across the bridge, downtown Boca Grande awaits with its charming shops, dining options, and cultural attractions. Inside, the full kitchen has stainless steel appliances and countertop seating. Indulge in your recipe of choice in the formal dining room or alfresco at one of the patio tables. Modern amenities include WiFi, central air-conditioning, and a convenient washer/dryer. (This home has many steep stairs and may not be ideal for small children.) Things to Know This Vacasa Guestworks vacation rental is operated and managed locally by an independent host. Prior to your arrival, you will receive local host contact information, who will manage your guest reservation. Your local host will provide in-stay support, secure entry, and arrange pre- and post-stay housekeeping services.
