The Cocoa Plum was designed with an open plan, connecting the dining room, kitchen, living room, and entertainment space in one communal space. Our wide, open windows allow our guests to admire the flora and fauna of the backyard as well as the Banana River, constantly immersing our guests in the beauty of our natural environment’s beauty. This seamlessly integrated space is ideal for entertainment, facilitating conversation, and of course, lasting memories, which is our priority here at The Cocoa Plum. Our home is perfect for a family or a group of friends, being able to accommodate up to 10 guests. Additionally, Cocoplum offers the perfect environment for a relaxing and romantic getaway at the beach. Our home is located on a quiet, quaint street along the Banana River. Our driveway is quite spacious and can accommodate 4-5 cars, allowing multiple friends and family to join your adventure at any time. The backyard and general landscaping was intentionally designed to reflect the natural beauty of Florida’s tropical coast, giving you a private slice of our little paradise. Our remodeled pool, the centerpiece of our backyard, is perhaps the best way to enjoy the Florida sun, surrounded by 6 lounge chairs allowing for rest, relaxation, and a perfect tan. About a few steps away from the pool is the entrance to the riverfront dock, our favorite attribute of The Cocoa Plum. Two flowering trees provide ample shade for you to enjoy your morning coffee on our deck chairs, where you may commonly sight the occasional pod of dolphins or manatees making their way out to the ocean. With a view of the mangroves, our dock truly provides a unique experience for each and every guest, as you’ll never know what you might see! Also, our dock features a full boat slip, accommodating boats up to 26 feet, allowing you to either bring your own boat or to rent one while you are here, unlocking an entirely new experience during your stay.
When I was a child, I was fortunate enough to travel to interesting places across the world. I can assure you that I remember practically every single place I've stayed at, and these experiences left an everlasting impression on my life. Understanding that vacations serve as core memories for both children and adults, I strive to provide the absolute best vacation experience as possible while remaining as unobtrusive as possible. This home is your home, if only for a short while, and we like to embody this in every aspect of the experience. Of course, if you need assistance, advice, recommendations, or help during your stay, we are on call and ready to tackle whatever comes our way in a responsible, respectful and diligent manner, but besides that, we'd like you to completely envelop yourself at our property. This is our ethos: a home away from home. Our entire structure as a team is oriented towards this principle. The neighborhood is quaint, cozy, and quiet. It is a sort of peninsula in the Banana / Indian River Lagoon system, meaning that the home is on the river (giving you the best view of natural marine life - such as dolphins, manatees, fish, jellyfish, and sharks, from the comfort of the dock). The neighborhood is a 5 minute walk from the beach, and a beach cart provided by us allows you to carry many things, small and large, with ease. It is also located near many tourist attractions, some which can be walked to within 10-15 minutes and others which are a short car ride away. Beyond that, it is easily walkable. Near dawn, you can walk around the neighborhood or in the accompanying neighborhoods, admiring the beautiful and creative landscapes of our neighbors.
