Donner Lake Village is a year-round resort retreat with lakefront studios and one-bedroom and two-bedroom units on the desirable West End of Donner Lake. These units feature a private beach, boat docks, and a few private boat slips. This is one of the only lakefront locations that offers a complete, unobstructed view of the entire length of Donner Lake! Each room is individually owned and decorated and has an iron and ironing board, hair dryer, coffee maker, room fan, and a flat-screened TV with Direct TV access. Most units have a kitchen or kitchenette, and units without a kitchenette will have a microwave and mini fridge. Most units have a Queen-sized bed, and some units have a King-sized bed. Please read the description for each unit when making your selection.

Featuring a private beach and an on-site marina in summer, this Truckee hotel is near plenty of spots for hiking and skiing. After returning from hiking, skiing, or swimming, guests’ of the Donner Lake Village can wind down in the on-site sauna. Laundry facilities and free parking are also provided at the hotel. Our units are equipped with various amenities to cater to your needs, including free internet access, a sofa sleeper, flat-screen television with Direct TV service, a mini refrigerator and microwave, a coffee station, a fan, a hair dryer, and an iron and ironing board, ensuring you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Please be advised that we do NOT offer mid-stay housekeeping services at Donner Lake Village.

Neighbourhood information

Donner Lake is a year-round playground! Boating, skiing, and fishing are the top draws, but spring flower watching and fall hiking/biking are not to be missed. Enjoy easy freeway access and a few-minute drive to Boreal and Sugar Bowl Ski Resorts in the winter. NorthStar and Squaw Valley are an easy 20-minute drive away. All you need from snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, snowmobiling, etc., are steps away. While historic downtown Truckee is a 12-minute drive from DLV, Lake Tahoe is only 19 miles away.
