Welcome to Dovetail Den, a charming one-level sanctuary tucked away in the stunning surroundings of Mount Rainier National Park located in Echo Valley. This 636-square-foot hideaway boasts a cozy 1 Bedroom and 1 Bathroom studio space, providing the ideal retreat for nature lovers. Step out onto the spacious deck and marvel at the sweeping views of the surrounding trees from the hot tub.
Raised as a "military brat", I was lucky to travel the world. No surprise my family decided to settle in Washington State. My trips to Mt. Rainier have always held a special place in my heart. My husband Patrick came for a visit in the mid 80's and fell in love with the mountain. Now we are lucky enough to have a cabin near the Paradise entrance. We acquired the Knotty Shack cabin in 2022 and Dovetail Den started as a short-term rental in 2024.

The neighborhood is an eclectic mix of homes, yurts and short-term rentals. The area is known for hiking and snow shoeing. Mount Rainier is a must see in all her glory! The scenic railroad in Elbe is also a great way to explore the beauty of the area,
