This is our families house, which we rent our when we are away. Your whole group will enjoy staying together under one roof with easy access to the best Austin has to offer. We ask you to be kind and gentle to it. Our house, East Austintacious, is sunny, airy, and filled with quirky art. There are three floors, including the ground floor. The ground floor has an open floor plan with a space for sitting, dining, and a fully stocked kitchen. The ground floor opens up to a backyard patio with a table and BBQ grill. There is also a deck on the top floor with cool breezes and a view. There are 4 bedrooms, which each sleep 2 people. Three of the four bedrooms have an attached bathroom. Bedroom #1 has a king-sized bed and an attached bathroom with 2 sinks, toilet, shower, and bathtub. It is on middle floor. Bedroom #2 is also on the middle floor. It has 2 twin-sized beds and an attached bathroom with 1 sink, toilet, combination shower/bathtub. Bedroom #3 is also on the middle floor. It has 2 twin-sized beds and an office desk. The guests that stay in this room will need to share a bathroom. Bedroom #4 is on the top floor. It has a queen-sized bed and an attached bathroom with 2 sinks, toilet, and shower.

My wife and I own East Austintacious together. We are frequent travelers ourselves, having recently visited Albania, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Germany, the Republic of Georgia, Vietnam, and Cambodia. We love walking through cities when we travel. The slow pace is a great way to see the architecture and watch people. We have been in Austin 20 years and love being able to share our house with people coming to visit.

Our neighborhood offers one of the best locations in Austin. The neighborhood is highly walkable. You will be a 5 - 10 minutes walk from more than 20 restaurants, bars, breweries, and coffee shops like Bird Bird Biscuit, the Butterfly Bar, Este, Vic and Al's, Dai Due, Haymaker, School House Pub, Love Supreme Pizza, Bobo's Snack Bar, and Sour Duck. It is also a great place to explore all of Austin's wonders from. You are in East Austin, so are about 15 blocks from the bars and restaurants of East 6th. If you want to go to University of Texas (UT for a game or to the Moody Amphitheater or the Moody Center, you are a 15 - 20 minutes walk or a 5 - 10 minute drive away. You will be a short 10 minute drive to downtown Austin, home to SXSW (in March), the Moody Theater, Rainey Street, Dirty Sixth, and Lady Bird Lake. South Congress (SoCo) is also about 10 minutes drive from the house. Zilker Park, where you can find Barton Springs and of course ACL fest (in October) is about 15 minutes drive. The Circuit of the America (COTA), home to F1 and many other races as well as concerts, is 20 - 30 minutes away. And the Airport is just 15 - 20 minutes from the house.
