Recharge/ bonding needed? This retreat is ±8.6 miles from Sneedville, nestled Newman's Ridge facing Powell mountain. You’ll love this cozy cabin because of the views, the location, the ambiance, the outdoors space, mostly because you have escaped the every day grinding. Come here and unplug & unwind. Take a hike down to the pond, watch the cows graze, look up at the mountain, get refreshed and recharged. There is a fast fiber optic internet access.
Living in the real country is what we wanted to do. We now would like to share this peace, tranquility and views with you. If you would like to unwind, bond, relax, hike, vacation, or simply escape: here it is. Come on in..... Please email us the estimated time of arrival; we will respond with the check in procedure. We cannot text: NO cell signal here, sorry, but now there is WiFi at the chalet. Remember to plan your trip to 36.583629°, -83.162377° on maps before you leave the data/ WiFi service area.
Quiet rural agricultural community. Visit the Melungeon historical site and museum in Vardy community 1.0 mile west of chalet. (remember this is remote..... remember NOT to follow your GPS, but the given directions.) or enter link above for directions from Sneedville TN to the chalet. Park you car right at the entrance to the chalet. No public transportation. Please note to drive slowly along small country roads: there are plenty of healthy deer grazing in the valley. (more so at night!!) If you have to use your cell phone, drive drive back the way you came for about 1.75 miles until you get a signal on you cell phone...(some cell phones make WiFi calling)
