The Inn is now owned and operated by the 3rd & 4th generations and has been part of the family since it was built in 1933. "A legacy of hospitality", it's not just a catchy phrase around here. It is a way of life. Friendly greetings, smiling faces and a genuine feeling of being part of our family is what you can expect the moment you step foot on the property. David Hornsby Bowditch, is the family's current historian and charismatic expert on all things Yorktown will often join guests at breakfast or our complementary wine and cheese with stories about the house and Yorktown.

Property information

Hornsby House is special. A large, beautiful home directly across from the Yorktown Victory Monument on historic Main St in Yorktown. You can relax in our front terrace rocking chairs with a view of the Victory Monument and York River. Our guest rooms a beautiful and comfortable, all with private baths. Our spacious and comfortable common areas have fireplaces and sitting areas. Relax, visit or read a good book. In the morning, enjoy a full breakfast in our spacious dining room with fireplace. These also a lot to see and do in historic Yorktown as well as Williamburg and Jamestown.
